I worked in the Talent Department at MTV, first in the Los Angeles office and then in the NYC office, from 2006 - 2008.

While there I cast scripted and unscripted pilots, series, and specials. I scouted talent at comedy theaters and clubs to find emerging talent for casting and development and to track established talent. I cast hosts for the network’s pilots and series, conducted nationwide searches for new talent for the network, produced bi-coastal talent showcases that included up and coming comedians, musicians, sketch groups and filmmakers.   I provided talent relations at MTV tapings and events.  I booked cameo appearances on pilots and series. I brought in talent driven pitches. I worked with the Business Affairs department in negotiations of talent deals.

As an independent casting director, I cast many projects for MTV including mostly unscripted projects, casting for hosts and/or comedic talent.
